Jacob Wesley, X and Instagram influencer with 100 followers, was cleansed of all error and crime from his comment when he added "Relax, it's just a joke."
Initially receiving backlash for his comment, "Woketards can drown in their own tears" off of a post about Pope Francis' passing, he strategically ran to the reply button. His explanation that his comments originated from some fictional comedy universe of his own making immediately quelled the angry posters who were seconds away from sending him death threats.
Many followers were confused by Jacobs raw and hurtful commentary, but were relieved instantly by the just joking addendum.
"When I saw that he was just joking, I quickly erased my reply that he can go ##$% himself with a huge iron poker up his ##$%^. Crisis averted. I am glad he clarified."
Jacob realized that the "softness" and "fragility" of his audience was too high and felt the need to express how comedically joking he was in his presentation. "My audience is not ready for such cultured wit so I need to be careful to warn them when I am just telling a joke. I can't believe some people would mistake me for bigoted and careless."
We wish him the best at the Carlson Comedy Open Mic night.
